Meet Wally & Grace Damian, their children, and Mr. Sean Henry. Summer of July 20th – August 10th, 2024, this team is bound for Tanzania, to join East Africa River Mission.
Sean Henry, one of the team members, is no stranger to EastARM! In 2021, Sean was part of a summer project to Tanzania that strived to keep the focus of the mission to the children and families in the Rufiji villages, while the rest of the world was in chaos. In December of 2022, Sean traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana to a Christian university conference called URBANA, to help recruit.
Now, in 2024, Sean will join this family, the Damians, hailing from the Greater Toronto Area, to serve along the Rufiji River, Tanzania. They represent two churches, one in Pickering, Ontario called Life Church, and the other, a longterm supporter of EastARM, Christ Almighty Baptist Church in Scarborough, ON. The team departs for Tanzania to bolster our Dinner Club programs in Kipo, Kipugira and Ngorongo Villages. In particular, they’ll participate in the largest event we’ve hosted in these three villages to date, spanning three weeks, that will open our Dinner Clubs for a new season and set the tone of the project for years to come…
